The 'Black Taj' competition was aimed to cater the argument of buidling the Black Taj Mahal across the river to the existing Taj Mahal. The participations consisted of more than 350 design entries from 35+ different countries.

Our competitve design proposal for the Black Taj shall acted as a project for bettering and adding an extended meaning and value to the existing Taj Mahal as well as rejuvenating and celebrating the unparallel legacy of the Mughal history, equally catering for the city tourism and enthusiasm as well as being a reason for the urban, architectural, spatial, cultural, social intervention complimenting our idea of  ‘ The Ghost Taj: fancifully real ’.

El concurso 'Black Taj' tenía como objetivo responder al argumento de construir el Taj Mahal Negro a través del río hasta el Taj Mahal existente. Las participaciones consistieron en más de 350 entradas de diseño de más de 35 países diferentes.

Nuestra propuesta de diseño competitivo para el Black Taj actuará como un proyecto para mejorar y agregar un significado y valor extendido al Taj Mahal existente, así como para rejuvenecer y celebrar el legado incomparable de la historia de Mughal, atendiendo igualmente al turismo de la ciudad y a su entusiasmo, además de ser una razón para la intervención urbana, arquitectónica, espacial, cultural, social que complementa nuestra idea de "El Fantasma Taj: fantasiosamente real".
